How You Can Help Bring “Beethoven’s Promethean Concerto in C Minor Wo0” to Life

The recently created Long Island-based Tomorrow’s Classics Theatre Company (TCTC) is dedicated to solely producing cutting-edge new works. Co-Founders, Debi Toni, a singer/songwriter, performer, teacher, and musical director; and award-winning playwright, director, author, entertainer, and psychic, Cindi Sansone-Braff, truly believe that these innovative new plays are destined to become future theatre classics.

Their first project, Beethoven’s Promethean Concerto in C Minor WoO, written by co-founder, Cindi Sansone-Braff, brings to the South Shore suburbs of Long Island the kind of groundbreaking theater that you’d only expect to find in London, Vienna, or New York City.

Following Aristotle’s principles of three unities, this Four Movement music drama takes place on August 6,1826, the fateful day when Beethoven’s beloved nephew shot himself in the head. Beethoven, forced to review the soul record of his life, ponders the universal question that had plagued him, Hamlet, and all of humankind since the dawn of time: “To be or not to be?” Yes, for any soul-searching being, this is always the question.

This World Premiere will take place Saturday, August 5th, 2017, at 8pm, when TCTC commemorates the 191st Anniversary Eve of that earth-shattering day. There will be an anniversary encore performance on, Sunday, August 6, 2017, at 7pm. By the way, these synchronistic dates were not picked by human design, but were divinely timed by the powers that be — stunning both co-founders! This heartfelt tribute to Beethoven, the man, the myth, and the music, promises to be an unforgettable night of theater.

Tomorrow’s Classics Theatre Company (TCTC), has chosen to use crowdfunding to help raise some of the revenue needed to make this project a worthy tribute to Beethoven: the Man, the Myth, the Music. Crowdfunding for artistic productions is fast becoming the number one choice to raise the cash needed to make things happen. Crowdfunding is the process of using websites, such as Indiegogo.com to generate, manage and accumulate funds for various productions and other creative endeavors

Additionally, crowdfunding is a powerful way to get an entire community involved in the theatre making process, and they too, can experience a sense of satisfaction when the show opens. This personal sense of involvement can help contributors spread the word about the show.

Musical Scoring
Nicholas Yandell is a Portland-based composer seeking to create the 21st century in musical art by capturing every aspect of post-millennial life we experience, past, present and future, and concoct it all into a formula of organized sound… To grab hold of the passion, pain, affection, spirituality, joy, incompleteness, anger, regret, sadness, yearning, and processed it all aurally… To find those sounds that dwell in the wordless void, that amalgamate with the atmosphere and enrich it, that descend from the skyscrapers and crawl out of the cracks in the sidewalk to soothe, agitate, impassion, drive, flow through our veins, and make us feel alive! These desires tend to manifest themselves into classical concert works, film scores, post-rock songs, and electronic music, sometimes amalgamating with fiction and poetry into meshes of lyrics, stories, and sound.
