One of the least enjoyable parts of the gift of Prophecy is the awesome responsibility of delivering hard to hear messages from above.  But all these earthshaking predictions have one thing in common – there are messages of hope planted in every one of them.  It’s up to us to discover those messages.  Later on, we may share them with others, and live a more fruitful life knowing that we have been touched by an Act of Divine Grace.

Who or by what means am I receiving this information?  To the best of my knowlege it comes in the form of energy.  Thoughts are energy, and the beings (Spirit guides, angels, deceased loved ones) come in the form of a ball of energy to me.  Through the gift of Prophesy, I am able to have these energetic thoughts transmitted to me, and then I deliver them to you.  I believe you all have this gift, but for one reason or another you fail to cultivate it.  I am not just a psychic.  I am a mystic.  A mystic is an Enlightened being, and the universe uses my knowledge and wisdom in hopes that I will be able to guide you on your own path toward living an Enlightened life.  I can also deliver Enlightenment to you, if you have already been preparing yourself for this momentus event.

With that said, I will share with you something that has been heavy on my mind the last few days.

Perhaps a dozen times over a period of two years, I have been the bearer of bad news, and that bad news has cast me in the dark role of the Angel of Death.  As an Enlightened being, I know it’s all good, but sometimes it certainly doesn’t feel or appear that way.  These angst-filled times bring me to my knees, as I beg God to find another way or another person to deliver those messages. 

What is the response from above to my heartfelt pleas?  “You’re just the messenger.  Get over your ego.  Did you cause this pain?  Are you these people?  Deliver the message and then get on with your life.”

And so I do just that.  I do what I am asked to do.  I acknowledge first and foremost:Thy will be done and not my will.   It’s my own personal Gethsemane, and I ready myself to carry that particular cross, knowing full well that it is also my job to know when to put the cross down and not allow myself to be crucified on it.  Those of you who know me can attest to the fact that I try to deliver these messages with great tenderness, compassion, and kindness.  I am forever grateful that out of the thousands upon thousands of divinely-inspired messages I am asked to relay each year, that this type of message comprises less than 1% of them.   But this small percentage doesn’t make the task any easier. 

Always remember it is a free will universe.  Some of us do have a pre-destined date in which we will die.  However, this can be slightly altered by God to give you a few more months or years beyond that date, if this is necessary for you to complete your mission, calling, or caretaking of another.  But the window of opportunity is fairly small on this.  Pretty much, when your time is up, it’s up.

Then there are Random Acts of Karma that might truncate our lives.  No one can predict the drunk driver who might jump in his car in a moment of intoxicated rage and kill a car load of innocent victims.  

In terms of that tragic day, immortalized as 9/11, probably only a very few of those people who perished were destined to die sometime in the near future. 

I have been reluctant to share the following information with others, out of fear that it could be seen as me being an opportunist, or one who wants to somehow profit from the pain of others.  But I am being divinely-guided to share all that comes through me, and to share it without fear of judgement or ridicule. 

And so here goes: This year, on the seventh anniversary of 9/11, as I did my Tarot readings, I was blessed to be joined by a ball of energy that called itself simply, “We who died as a result of 9/11.”  The energy in the room was intense and filled with light and love.  One person would step forward out of that ball of energy and deliver a message.  One message was this:  “I speak for more than five hundred of us.  We didn’t like our jobs.  We didn’t even want to be where we were that day.  If we had followed our hearts, we would have been elsewhere, performing a job we loved, not working at a job for money’s sake only.  Be sure that you are doing the kind of job you wish to be doing, so that if you should suddenly be struck my lightening, you would have died doing what you loved.”  Another person stepped forward and spoke for all those who had passed away.  “Stop all your planning.  You are never going to see the plane that might crash into your world and change everything in an instant.  We all had a plan.  In forty-five minutes our life plan was destroyed.  Our families’ plans were destroyed, and the whole world’s plan shifted in an instant.  Live your life, one day at a time.  Do your best today.  Be in gratitude for what you have.  And let tomorrow naturally evolve from today.  You can not nor should you wish to control tomorrow.  Be at peace.  We have a mission.  We are at peace and that mission is to see that no other world wars ever take place.  Heed our messages, and be grateful for everyday you are given.  Be kind.  Forgive.  And please, live and let live.”

We can transcend the suffering inherent in the state of mind known as victim consciousness by acknowledging that we live in a freewill universe in which every human being in this lifetime or in any other will be affected by other people’s Random Acts of Karma.  Sometimes karma, luck, or whatever you want to call it goes our way, but the law of averages alone will tell us that we can’t dodge every bullet.  I do believe with every fiber of my being, that those who perished in 9/11 have accepted their plight and now willingly watch over, not only their own, but the entire world.

Then there are our own free will actions that contribute to how, why, and when we die.  If you are chain smoking three packs a day, you might drastically alter the allotted days you have to walk upon this earth.  If you are self-destructive and have a death wish, know that a death wish works as well as any other weapon, and you are once again altering your life’s plan.  And, there is a strong mind/body connection.  If you are not healing your psychic pain, then it will manifest as illness and disease.  Most of us would rather feel physical pain than psychological pain.  But if we continue to do this, we can once again drastically alter our life span.  Please try to deal with the real issues at hand, so that you won’t be given physical illness as a wake-up call.

I am gifted with the ability to give people life reviews. This life-changing experience gives you the opportunity to see the good and bad karma you have accrued.  It’s as if you are given a near-death experience without having to suffer the physical trauma.  If you heed the wake-up call I am delivering to you, you can alter the outcome for your life. 

I will share one of these life reviews with you, since it is so heavy on my heart.  This September, a beautiful, twenty-something girl was at a Tarot card party I was doing for some of her friends.  I believe all their readings were illuminating, but this particular young woman asked me if she would be marrying her current boyfriend, who was in his early thirties.  The messages from above that I delivered to her came from many sources: Those deceased loved ones who loved her, those deceased loved ones who loved him, and many angels and guides spoke as well.   Although the message I had to deliver might have made me sound like the Angel of Death, that was not the true intention.  I was trying to be the Preventer of that destiny.  The message was basically this: The universe did not want her to marry him and bear his children, unless he cleaned up his act.  He was greatly abusing drugs and alcohol, and he had driven numerous occasions while under the influence.  His deceased loved ones and the deceased loved ones of the others he would have maimed and killed while driving drunk already intervened twice to prevent this tragedy from occurring.  At this point, his deceased relatives were being yanked away from him.  Yes, we do get in trouble in the afterlife if we interfere with the free will of others.  For a while we lose our right to watch over them.  Basically, her boyfriend was left to his own devices.  His angels and spirit guides knew that he had asked her to share with him what I had to say, and so it was their hope that he would heed the warnings that were being given.  Everyone came through to basically say, “If he doesn’t change, he’s not long for this earth.  His days are numbered.  And basically, he’s on borrowed time.  There are souls who are waiting to be born,and although they wish for you to be their mother, they do not wish to have this man as their father unless he cleans up his act — big time. ”  I told her, “He doesn’t have much good karma accrued.  Even his so-called loving of you is an act of manipulation.  He lies to you.  He knows that you have this need to rescue, and he takes advantage of that.  If he truly loved you, he would let you go, so that you could find a good man. ”  I said, “That as a mystic, I would request for your sake, that this man be given one more wake-up call.”  (He had already had plenty, but to no avail.)   I forewarned him and her, that within a month or two, he would get arrested for driving under the influence.  If he didn’t go to rehab, and he continued to use drugs and abuse alchohol, and particularly if he continued to drive while under the influence, he would die either of a drug overdose, in a car accident, or a combination of the two.  I also asked God if this be the case, let him crash into a wall, and not harm any other innocent people.  I hoped and prayed that this young man would love this beautiful young woman enough to see the error of his ways, and embrace the love and life she had to offer him.  I also knew the odds were very slim that he would actually change as a result of hearing all this.  I told her that she was only responsible for her behavior and not his, and that if he didn’t step up to the plate, she would be given a Soul Mate love in the future, because she deserved this.

She did tell him what I told her.  And what did he do?  Did he allow me to be the Preventor?  I wish.  In November he got a DUI.  Knowing that the first part of my prophesy had manifested, did he go to rehab?  Did he go to therapy?  Unfortunately, not.

One cold morning in Janurary, he woke up and told this beautiful young woman, that he was better off dead than alive.  Obviously, he heard the messages being transmitted from above.  Why did he only hear that message so clearly?  Why was he blocking all the others?

That same day, he was pulled over for a DUI again.  No one’s quite sure yet what actually happened right after that, but it appears that he died of a heart attack while being arrested.  I am grateful that God heard my pleas that others be spared, if he drove drunk.   But, I am saddened that he didn’t grab the second chance at love and life that he was being given.

What is the message of hope that I was delivering to her and to him back in September?  First of all, if he had stopped abusing drugs and alcohol, he would have been free to embrace the love and future his girlfriend was offering him.  Because he didn’t do this, she has been freed from the guilt that she should have done more to save him.  What more could she have done?  And back in September, she was given the knowledge that the universe will reward her with a Soul Mate love in the future, if things didn’t work out with him. 

I pray that this young man, who died before his time, will guide over other young men who are making the same mistakes.  He will gain good karma for these actions.  And may his soul find solace in this.  I pray that this young woman learn from the past and embrace the wonderful future the universe has in mind for her.

I pray that more and more I take on the title of “The Preventer” and not the “Angel of Death”.  Please help me to do this by learning your karmic lessons and embracing the real future the universe is trying to offer you.

By the way, I wrote this post because the young man I just told you about came through to ask me to.  He wishes he had listened and wants others to learn from his tragic mistake.  I am grateful that he has come through to comfort me by saying, “You did your job to the best of your ability.  You didn’t fail.  I did.”  Bravo for him.  He’s taking full responsibility for his actions.  Redemption awaits him.  May he rest in peace.

 
At my workshops, I have been meeting other love-minded people and teaching them the LOONY PRINCIPLE, an acronym I coined to help you learn many of the founding principles of the Grant Me a Higher Love Philosophy. 

The ancient Greeks, Plato, Socrates, and the boys felt that love was a kind of madness showered down upon us from the gods…  So, I ran with that idea and like to think of Soul Mate love as that crazy in love good feeling that brings out the best in you.  Whereas Cellmate love is like two lunatics in love that feels bad and brings out the worst in you.  The good, old ball and chain thing, Razor’s Edge Mates is “you’re driving me crazy love”, that cuts both ways because, damn it, sometimes I love you and sometimes I hate you.

Love is a choice.  It is offered to you everyday.  It is your choice to choose a higher love or a lower love.  It’s that simple.  So what will you have today???

A higher love is not only possible — it is the only possibility.

L – Love is a miracle that always comes from God.

O – Only love is real.

O – Only love matters. 

N – Not all love is created equal.

Y-  You are only responsible for your own behavior.

So, do me a favor and fall madly in love, but hold the craziness!!!!

Today I was blessed to spend some time with a Buddhist monk, who just happens to live down the block from me in Patchogue.

During these hectic times of marketing the book, running a business, doing workshops, and countless numbers of Tarot readings, God brought this wonderful person into my life to help me remember to sit still, be still, let it flow, and relax.

On this day, I give thanks for my daily bread that is given in such a hospitable and generous fashion.  Everyone there greets me with hugs and laughter and good cheer. 

When I spent ten hours doing readings in Cablevision, Bronx last month, they had an American Idol-type talent show.  Let me tell you, the people behind the scenes of Cablevision have more talent than what we see on the screen.  Cablevision — how about a great reality series entitled, “The Talent Behind the Scenes at Cablevision?”  It would definitely be much better than the reality shows on television right now.

I hope your work day goes great as well.

Thought of the day: For every problem you encounter today, love is the answer.  Remember — love is the most powerful energy in the universe, we just need to learn how to harness it!

If we can’t make peace in our own homes and in our own hearts, there will be no lasting peace in the world.  When parents argue, fight, and bicker constantly, children learn the art of war.  When parents love each other heart, soul, mind, and body and find peaceful ways to deal with their differences, children learn the art of peace  So, this Monday, when you are home, see if you can speak kind and loving words, refrain from raising your voice, and try your best to really listen to your family members when they talk.  Agree to disagree and make a truce, if need be.  Let bygones be bygones and choose to start over again, from this day forward to find better and healthier ways of interacting.   If you need to make amends, do so.  If you need to say you’re sorry, say it.  When was the last time you said, “I love you” to your children or your mate?  Those words need to be said each and every day.

At work, try to get along with your coworkers.  Stop feeling the need to be right and prove others wrong.  If someone at work throws you a hook and wants to start a fight, dodge that bullet by turning that warlike energy around by answering with a kind, loving, and straight response.  Use this peace day as a reminder that you’re all on the same team.  Learn to work together and stop keeping tallies as to who did this or who didn’t do that.  Do your job to the best of your ability.  If necessary go that extra Biblical mile. 

And as you travel to and from work — try remembering that those people on the train, or walking, or on the bus, or in their car, are also tired, stressed out, and just want to get home.  Be courteous in your actions.  When driving, yield and let someone get on the parkway.  Keep a safe distance and don’t use your vehicle as a weapon as you dangerously tailgate someone.  If someone makes a mistake and by the Grace of God an accident is avoided, don’t curse out the person who made the mistake, rather get on your knees and thank God for your safe return home.  If you were the one who made a careless mistake, see this as a wake-up call to pay more attention to your driving.

Once you’ve mastered one day of peace, and you see how good it feels, you’ll want to make this your regular way of interacting with others.

Pray for Peace.  Acknowledge that the world is an abundant place, and resist believing in the scarcity principle, especially in these trying economic times. 

 Be peace.  Radiate peace.  Believe in peace.  It is the way.

“We must either let the Law of Love rule us through and through or not at all.  Love among ourselves based on hatred of others breaks down under the slightest pressure.  The fact is such love is never real love.  It is armed peace… War will only be stopped when the conscience of mankind has become sufficiently elevated to recognize the undisputed supremacy of the Law of Love in all the walks of life…”

Deepok Chopra wrote in his review of Mary’s book, “The Hidden Souls of Words opens the window to the soul in order to awaken the dormant and hidden potential within us.”

Rabbi Michael Lerner, the author of Spirit Matters, wrote: “Every crisis regardless of how small or how large comes as a result of choosing the wrong words.  The Hidden Souls of Words is not only a great catalyst for initiating more thoughtful dialogues that lead to actions, but also is a resource potential to help you heal the conflicts in your life.”

If we all watched our words and learned to say what we mean and mean what we say without being mean about it, what a wonderful world it would be.

From delivering thousands of divinely guided messages to people over the last fifteen years, and believe me, not all of these messages were easy to deliver or to hear for that matter, I learned to pray and ask God, angels, and spirit guides to give me the right words to express in the kindest, clearest, and most compassionate way what needed to be said.  From this I learned that people do want to hear the truth, but they need to hear it tempered with kindness and compassion.

Words resonate at different vibrations.  Words such as: love, joy, forgiveness, mercy, tenderness, vibrate at very high frequencies and leave us with an elevated feeling of peace, positivity, and well-being.  Whereas curse words, and words such as: hate, war, violence, prejudice, vibrate at much lower frequencies and leave us feeling anxious, afraid, and foster negativity. 

Learn to watch your words, for words work as well as any weapon.  Use your words to heal not hurt.   

Please do me a favor and say something really truthful, really loving, and really kind to someone today.

And if you are guilty of speaking in an unkind and hurtful way to those people you profess to love, then please work on finding a better way to communicate your thoughts, feelings, and intentions.  There is no reason to ever raise your voice, use profanity, or attack words when addressing others.

Watch your words and watch others gravitate toward you to be bathed in the light of your being.

Yesterday, I did a Soul Mate relationship reading for my client, Nancy, who was blessed to reconnect with the love of her life, after more than twenty years of separation.  She was thrilled to death to be traveling across the country to see him, but she had had a bad marriage and a string of Cellmate relationships that had brought out the worst in her,and she was really scared that she might mess things up with him.  I told her that she had to learn to watch her words, so that she and her new-found, long lost love would learn to always speak to each other in kind and loving words. I told her, she had to learn to say what she means and mean what she says without being defensive and without raising her voice.  Then she said something quite brilliant, “I have to say what I mean without saying it mean.”

Imagine a world in which everyone said what they needed to say in a kind and compassionate way. Start today by watching your words.  Say what you mean.  Mean what you say.  But, please, don’t be mean about it!

The people you see in this video are real-life couples, who were found through a Craigslist ad.  These courageous couples have chosen to be together despite the objections of family and friends.  Through the power of love, they've also managed to overcome the cultural pressures that conspired to keep them apart.

In this new millennium, Soul Mate couples will often have great obstacles to overcome in order to be together.  This is God's brilliant way of leading us back to the original state of oneness.  By overcoming these obstacles, we will learn this immutable truth: The external differences that separate people are just an illusion.  Only love is real.

I applaud these brave couples for their ability to embrace the love they've been given.

If you're going to be granted a higher love, then you're going to have to learn to turn your love life over to God.  Admit that you don't have a clue as to what you really need in a Soul Mate.  Then you must promise God that you won't question the package love comes in.  You won't say things like, "But she's not my type."  "But he's too old, too short, too fat, too this, or too that."

Remember, to God, only love matters.

The path of fear is really the path of the illusion of safety. Many people continue to walk the path of fear because at first glance it appears to be the path of least resistance, and therefore the easier one.

The path of love will often appear to be the more dangerous one at first, particularly if there are obstacles to overcome before two people can be together.

Some of my other clients say something like, “I want love, but I don’t want it to change anything in my life too much.”  This kind of thinking defies the Natural Law of Love which states:  Love changes everything.  If you’re a person who doesn’t like change, then letting love in can be a difficult thing to do.  Learn to embrace change as a good thing.  A really good thing if those life changes came about because of the power of love.

Sometimes we yearn for love so strongly that when it does finally find its way to us, it can frighten us to the bones.  We start fearing that we can’t handle all the powerful feelings and uncontrollable emotions that are welling up inside of us.  If you’re the kind of person who needs to feel in control at all times, then you’ll need to learn to let go and let love lead the way.

If you want a higher love, then you have to stop settling for a watered-down version of the real thing.  This watered-down version of love, conditional love, is really all about feeding the ego and its expectations, fears, desires, and insatiable need for power, control, and to possess.

If you want to open yourself to love, you must acknowledge and accept the undeniable truth that love represents a very real threat to your ego, since your ego is comprised of fear.  Our ego is the part of our consciousness that sees itself as separate from everything and everyone else.  Love is the unifying force of the universe that dispels this myth of separateness and embraces the immutable truth that we are all connected.  All is one.  The more we open our hearts, souls, mind, and body to unconditional love and its all transforming power, the more it will change and affect every aspect of our life and being.  Trust that these changes are always for the better.

Love will find a way, if you allow it to.

All of us resist surrendering to love because we innately know that when we’re in that deep place of love, all of our unhealed issues will surface.  This is God’s compassionate way of allowing us to be in a safe place, before we’re asked to confront our greatest fears, our deepest wounds, and our biggest regrets.

Love has the power to reveal all.  This revelatory period becomes the emotionally rocky junction in a relationship when many people jump ship or run away in fear.  These people tell themselves the biggest lie of all: Before love came into my life everything was okay, but now that this person is here all this anxiety, fear, and panic has set in.  But the truth is — that all this angst was always there.  Love just brought forth what was buried deep inside.

Remember — until we’re healed beings — a great love will always bring forth a great fear.

You can become the master of your destiny, if you find the courage to follow your heart, which is telling you to forge forward, even though every bone in your body screams at you to flee.

Do you need to take down the barbed wire, let the guard dogs go, and drop the weapons of mass destruction that surround your being, so that you can let go and let love?

When God blesses us with a Soul Mate, if we surrender to that love, we’re being given a chance to learn our life lessons through love, peace, and joy.

So, the choice is yours — will you continue to walk the path of fear and learn most of your karmic lessons through suffering, or will you surrender to the healing power of love?
